Hey guys so I got a yz426 as a project and it will not throttle up. When you snap the throttle it dies. It fires up perfectly and idles pretty well, but dies when you crack the throttle. I bought a new carb and that hasn’t helped. I rejetted it with no improvement. I bought a new air/fuel screw and adjusted it every which way with no improvement. The old carb had been jb welded over where the air/ fuel screw was and the air box was taped over. The bike would only start with the air box taped over. Now I can get it started without the tape, but it won’t throttle up still. Could it be the cams? I’m at a loss so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
