Hate to be the spoiler, but that's not breaking the sound barrier. That's near it at a speed called 'transonic', but not thru it. There are no compression waves once the aircraft pushes through the barrier...the aircraft looks clean.

:kicknutsTechnically your right but actually breaking the the sound barrier would not be such an interesting picture. :lol

You can change the title to going Transonic or Supersonic transition so it will be a more accurate description. :mock:lol

You're both wrong, the aircrafts in these pictures are entering "hyperspace" mode... :crash
