I had a quick search on the forum but couldn't find an answer. On the 2007 R1 does the oil warning light only come on when the oil is too low, or does it also come on if there is too much oil in the engine?
I currently have an R1 engine in my offroad buggy with an external oil cooler and I'm getting the oil warning light on after a few minutes... if I leave the engine running for a few minutes and then turn it off I can see the oil level around half way up the window. This is probably different to the usual bike setup as I'm running an additional cooler.. just wondering if it shows low only, or also shows the light if it has too much oil.
