I've had a ttr90 for about 2 years now and I'm finally getting it to the point where it witll run again. My brother blew the motor and I have replaced the whole top end. After I just got the timing done, the carburetor is acting up and is spitting gas out of the air filter and the bike won't start. I took the carb off the check if it is in stroke and it is. I have the carb apart right now and need help to figure out what's wrong with it and how the fix it.

Agreed, sounds a little like a timing issue. I'd double check that first. From there, as long as you have the carb apart, give it a good cleaning and put it back together.

now i've gotten the whole bike together, timing was checked and double checked and it's dead on. i had the carb rebuilt and it sounds like it wants to fire but it will only try popping over if i spray carb/choke cleaner in the carb. idk what's wrong with it at this point and i'm running out of options
