Andy The fit is unbelievably good i cant say enough for the quality and of the fairings. 99% as good as the original i would say. As for price its they are not cheap i got mine 2nd hand however so much cheaper than the usual price i think with the seat unit as well your looking close to 1000 + shipping for new ones.

James D Grady I'm interested in buying a set of the QB carbon stuff for my bike. What was the cost? Shipping? and what do you think of the quality/fitting? I would expect it to be top notch.

Andy sorry i only have loads of yzf 750 parts. no the fairings came from qb carbon with a clear laquer over the carbon weave that is all. I am nearly done with my project now, only need a dash and then i am complete, will post pictures soon.

No, they won't. Lights are completely different shapes. R7 light assemblies are very difficult to find, since most Yamaha spares were burned up on R71 projects.

If you have any spare R7 parts, I'd be interested. Got a project coming up.

rinn What year? Do you have stock R7 Plastics? are you trying to make an authentic R7?

Here is what a friend did with an '98 R1 frame and Sharkskinz R7 Fairings
