FZR400 Fans

Hello,

Who out there is sporting an FZR400? Who out there can appreciate this now Vintage bike?

I purchased one in 1989. Currently in the middle of a total rebuild and remodel. I have a set of Air-Tech TZR250 bodywork planning to be installed. Also upgraded the front suspension with FZR600 forks and RaceTech internals. FZR600 rotors with 2003 R6 Calipers and Galfer SS lines. Front wheel stock and rear wheel is a Performance Machine 17 inch. (replaces the 18 inch stock rear)

Lots of other interesting things being done to her. More to follow...

Ciao!

Miguel

cool. I built a street fzr4/6 back in 2001, had to part her out to go racing with my fzr400 in 2005, but it was fun(except using pod filters and trying to tune the carbs....) you plan on making it a streetbike or trackbike? I manufacture an all aluminum racing only, front fairing stay for the FZR400(US spec 88-90 only) that utilizes the stock guages(sans speedo), and I just sold one to a guy in Cali who is putting on TZ250 bodywork. let me know if u are interested in one. also I know how to use the fan with the FZR600engine and rad in the FZR400.

Dude... that was me! So far I got the upper AirTech on the bike and gotta find time to fit the lower. It will require some cutting to fit over the motor. Otherwise all is good.

The fairing stay fits very well. Thanks! I did need to make some slight adjustments with the Dremel and a little bending to fit the TZ glass. It looks great!
