650 Gas Tank

I took off my gas tank off my 2003 v star 650. When i moved it around I heard something sliding in side the tank and it sounded like change inside of it. Is there supposed to be something inside the tank to help with the gas from the factory or could something have gotten inside of it?

Use a flex magnet to fish it out, might be valuable. Sorry again, could'nt help it.
