Unhappy 95 600 vmax

Have just bought this machine and it has not been run for 3 yrs I had to get new carbs and the ones I have now are just a bit different with couple of wires off the side of intakes is this necessary if the originals did not have this and what other problems could I be up for or major thing to look for everything turns over. Thanks any one

the wires are a throttle override system that'll cut the ignition if the throttle sticks open from icing.

make sure that the jetting is the same or you're heading for a burndown.

When hell freezes over, we'll ride there too.

no problem man. You can bypass the TORS, I don't recall if you need to stick the 2 wires together or leave them unplugged on the harness side but it can be defeated. With that said I HIGHLY recommend that you keep it around, it's there for a reason. Frozen throttle slides are NOT fun. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt and the scars.

When hell freezes over, we'll ride there too.
