Adding oil to an 05 RX-1 Snowmobile

Where do you add the oil to? there's two places that it might be...1 is the cylinder had cap and the other is the oil level gauge/dipstick. my question is...do you add oil into both of these places? and how much oil does it take in all with a new oil filter? the book doesn't really say.

Don't have the manual for that one handy but off the top of the head I think it's about 3.5 quarts, fill it by the dipstick. It's honestly a major pain in the ass to change the oil in those things man.

When hell freezes over, we'll ride there too.
