Retired Factory Yamaha Race bike in my Garage!!!!!!!

Just picked this up for a friend from the R1-Forum. Its Damon Buckmasters 2003 Factory Supersport bike, and in 2004 it was raced by Hotbodies Racing in the Formula Extreme class. This bike took 9th at the Daytona 200 in 2005 with Taylor Knapp riding it!!!!! Still cant believe its in my shop, I just wish it was there to stay. The exhaust is huge on this thing for a 600 and it sounds like a beast.....all kinds of one off unobtanium bits and pieces on this bike.

It would be "unfortunate" if something were to "happen" to it and it were to somehow "disappear" from your shop for a period, before your friend came to retrieve it....

That was the first thing I noticed too.....Now I am on the hunt for a "TRUE" race exhaust for my bike. Probably kill the low end but oh well, that exhaust looks and SOUNDS awesome!

thanks again for holding her for me Kev! I can't wait to take her out for spin.

Ron - only 3 people in the world knew I was getting that bike - did you catch me on the WERA board or something?

HAHA - I see that now! I was operating on very little sleep yesterday. I hope I'm deserving of the bike's pedigree.
