Does anyone know if r6 or r1 headlights will fit straight onto an R7?

What year? Do you have stock R7 Plastics? are you trying to make an authentic R7?

Here is what a friend did with an '98 R1 frame and Sharkskinz R7 Fairings

No, they won't. Lights are completely different shapes. R7 light assemblies are very difficult to find, since most Yamaha spares were burned up on R71 projects.

If you have any spare R7 parts, I'd be interested. Got a project coming up.

I'm interested in buying a set of the QB carbon stuff for my bike. What was the cost? Shipping? and what do you think of the quality/fitting? I would expect it to be top notch.

The fit is unbelievably good i cant say enough for the quality and of the fairings. 99% as good as the original i would say. As for price its they are not cheap i got mine 2nd hand however so much cheaper than the usual price i think with the seat unit as well your looking close to 1000 + shipping for new ones.
