i have a 1995 yzf600r. i just bought it a few weeks ago from a guy whos wife laid it down everything worked it started up and drove fine till the other day i rode it down my street turned around and it cut off on me i thought the battery died cause i had no power when i turned the key to the on position so i replaced the battery and still have no power the dealer wont look at it till this winter time. i cant wait till then i want to ride it now as i just got the tags for it...... but anyways i would like to know what to check or do to find the problem and fix it remember nothing has power to anything no lights or ignition the starter doesnt even have power to it ideas please

I just anwsered another similar problem. Yours is easier. When you turned it shut off, right Then you have a wire harness problem in the steer stem area. Look at the connectors carefully. Unplug and replug, spray them w/ elec cleaner and use dialectic grease inspect the whole area.
