Oddly enough, I've never grilled one on a weber. I've smoked several, and deep fried a couple....but never grilled one. He's right, though, a grilled turkey is damn near unbeatable. I do know Weber has a good set of instructions on their website, too.

My wife and her sister look forward to cooking this bird all year, so I don't interfere, and they do it in a roasting oven. One year I'm gonna put my foot down.............if she lets me. :lol

I do this at least once or twice a summer. For a 14 pound bird, it takes about 3 hours. No direct heat, only pile charcoal on the side and let it go. I don't baste it, or put anything in the middle, but it comes out very moist. Best tasting turkey I ever make.

As to yesterday's meal:

Baked turkey
Stuffing
Garlic mashed potatoes (done by hand, not boxed)
Cinnamon flavored mashed squash
corn bread
buns
Swedish sausage and lefsa bread
Home made apple pie
Home made pumpkin pie

I know I'm forgetting a few things...
