Hi there people!!
I'm new at the forum. I'm from Portugal and have a doubt...
I own a YZF R1 year 2003, 5PW model! I wanted to exchange the front fork from the newer model 5VY or the newest model (the newer R1 model with the 6 piston calipers)!
My doubt is if the forks and direct replacement because i wanted to upgrade suspension and braking!!

I searched on the forum post old posts with this mod...
Ok, i found at leat 2 users that already did this...tried to contact them, but with no sucess. So checked their last post on the forum, and one was on 2009 and the other April 2010!!!!!
No luck?!?!?! Can't anyone help me with this?

Newer forks will work, think it was best to use the newer wheel too(complete front). If you wanted to use your stock 03 wheel, you have to dick with spacers.
