No, not recession (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/recession). Recission (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/recission). Specifically, related to health insurance policies.

Not looking for legal advice, just trying to get info from others who may have gone through this (http://money.cnn.com/2007/02/12/magazines/moneymag/insurance_rescission.moneymag/index.htm) or something like it.

PM me if you've gone through it, and prefer to keep it private.

Thanks.

Damn bro...Can't say I have any experience, but hope you get out from under it. These are the kinds of things that almost make living in a taxed-to-the-eyeballs socialist country acceptable...

Thanks guys. So far, from what I've been reading, things aren't looking too good for me on this front. Thankfully, I'm not as bad off as some people are experiencing the same thing. But, it's not right for insurance companies to be able to do this kind of stuff.

I sent an e-mail to someone I know who works for the state as a health inspector. Hopefully he'll have some better insight for me on who to contact. The e-mail address I got wasn't valid, so was kicked back.

As to insurance companies: I hate them all. I've had nothing but problems with the companies I've dealt with over the years.
