Hello All, I just yesterday picked up a 2006 TTR 50 for the kids with no owners manual. I've never owned a motorcycle before so this is a learning experience for all of us. I changed the oil and the spark plug and the thing seems to be running pretty good. My question is this, on the throttle side of the handle bars there is a little grey square button and I don't know what it's for. I know the choke is in the center by the key and there is a kill switch on the left handlebar but I have no idea what the button is on the right handle bar. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Chad

This has a black button that is the electric start. But it makes me wonder if the black button is an add-on. Maybe the grey button started out as the electric start and they had to change it to the new one. I'll have to order a manual to be sure, but I bet you are right. Thanks!

Thanks Todd, I now officially have a manual. And you were right about the button. It is the starter button. This one must have shorted out at some point and instead of replacing it they added a different button to the handlebar.
^5, Thanks again!
