I got the new style rear brake switch that comes with the Vortex Rearsets package, I think you can buy one for $20 and just cut the two wires on the old brake light switch and wire the two new wires to it then screw it into the housing, real simple man, then you gotta bleed the brakes though, still simple. The metal bracket I rigged pretty slick if you ask me :mrgreen I cut it with a dremel just above where it would have stuck out after being bolted into the plastic piece that blocks the pipes and then with a black zip tie, I tied it to my rear brake reservior, you won't believe how good it looks till you see it.

:confused :duh uuuhhhh, I bolted those allen bolts to the metal piece that I cut with the dremel, so now it connects the rear brake hose to the bracket through the plastic piece that goes over the pipe, understand now? :mrgreen

I'm heading out to dinner with the wife and some friends and then a movie, I'll txt Jay then hit you up later tonight, I'd like to meet a little later this time (I'll be getting home late) maybe 10am or so :dunno

We had a blast at Hawks Nest and route 23 that is fuggin awesome right before Port Jervis, but one of our own went down back in NY and hard. You can see from Dan's pictures, could have been worse though, he could have gone over the concrete divider and over the cliff :(

He's not a member, but a friend of a friend, he got a broken ankle and sore shoulder, other than that, he's in good spirits.

It happened like Jay said, after you pay the toll for the Bear MT bridge and head down route 6/202 Bear Mountain Bridge Road right here, last left handed kneedragger just before he would have been home free, I was first and Jay was behind me and Nelson was last so I don't know what exactly happened.

Just came back from trying to save a biker a speeding ticket. Wasn\'t successful. Feel bad for the guy.

D.A. no I was on break from my job. I went to my car that was parked on the corner by the meter. I heard a biker racing down 43rd av approaching real quick towards Queens blvd and spotted a police car about 3 blocks behind chasing the biker. I pulled out of the parking spot and turned after the biker coming between the biker and the police car. I figured I tried to stall the police car. But he just swerved around me and continued chasing him. I figuered the biker hit all the traffic trying to get on the bridge and has no chance. I was right the police cut him off at the next light. From the looks at how the police was talking to the biker he was not giving him no brakes. Hope he has all his paper work.

I never "put" my bike away for the winter Ug, I take it out at least once every 2 weeks even if it's just for 10-15 minutes or so, just to spin the tires and get it out of my system, I personally don't think it's good to let a bike sit for 5 months, but that's just my opinion. You won't freeze your balls off if you take it out for 15 minutes even if it's zero degrees out, it's cold don't get me wrong but your balls will still be there when you put it back in the garage :mrgreen

salt is a pain in the arse, but looks good once balanced, fresh is pretty much idiot proof and you dont spend a butt load of cash on 1 or 2 little fishes. I had a salt set ups go fowl on me, so I went fresh and haven't had any problems. I got a 10 inch placo that wont stop growin.....damn thing is like 8 years old now. never had a problem with this one...
