I have a 95 YZF 600 that has some minor fairing damage to it. It is on the right side of the bike right near where the upper hole in the fairing is. The bike has never been laid down it was damaged in the garage. I had parked the bike next to my mustang and my mother came over to the house to borrow a shovel which she preceded to lean against the mustang and the dog happened to know the shovel over and it came down and cracked the fairing. My question is has anyone used fairings from
Race Bike Bodywork - Yamaha (http://www.beasleycomposites.com/racebike_yamaha.htm#YZF%20R600%20R-6:%201999)
It seems pretty cheap for a new side fairing. Any other ideas I would really appreciate it.

If your only replacing one part, then stick with the factory stuff... I have never heard of that company but that doesn't mean it's crap.

In order to fit with the other parts you have though, stick with the original parts.

Anyone else have any ideas as to where I can go to get that fairing? Also what years are comparable that I can use?

95 & 96 are the same for sure as I used to have a 96, but I think it 97 it changed up a little, but I'm not 100% on this. Have you checked craigs list and ebay?

If they are not available anymore then your only chance is after market or used.

I was looking at the fairings that the other website has for sale and it doesnt appear as though they have the cutout for mounting the stock turn signals to it. Do you think it would be possible to get a flush mounted turn signal set that would cover the opening in the stock fairing that is still get and mount one up on the other new fairing that doesnt have the hole cut? If so any suggestions as to where to look for find what I need?

I am also in need of a side fairing for my 2003 YZF600. I was able to luck out and find a brand new OEM left side panel on ebay for $135 inclucing shipping; incredible deal. However, i also need the other side and I cannot find it on ebay, and the cheapest i was able to find it is $445 brand new. It's insane how much they gouge people for a piece of molded ABS plactic.

Your atleast lucky your bike is pretty new. The parts are more available for the newer ones than the older ones.
