Hey all,

Ive got a 96 yzf 750r. The bike idles great in neutral and revs great. When its put in 1st gear and the engine is loaded, the bike dies. You try to restart it and it will idle at 1k. The only way it stays at 1k is when you use half throttle/full throttle, then it dies again.
After it cools down, it restarts fine in neutral. What the hell? lol any opinions will great.
Work done...my mechanic claims the carbs are fine, and ignition is fine....he is using a external fuel pump, so it cannot be the tank/stock fuel pump, etc.

could well be a faulty nuetral switch , float level wrong , (too low ) should be 12 mm , diaphams in top of carb split or not seated properly, coil breaking down under load , exup valve stuck shut , get a new mechanic , !!!!!!
