I have a 2000 RoadStar 1600 cc. The clutch is starting to slip a little. Is there an easy way to tighten it up or adjust it other than a complete tear-down? Help, please!!!

if it is the clutch then It is not an adjustment if it is slipping something usually needs replaced.

I would recommend going to a yamaha dealer and having them run your vin to see if there are any recalls that apply to your bike.
they had a transmission related recall for your year IIRC.


then see what they charge to diagnose your problem .
