Does anyone know how to convert a 2000 R1 to have 04 or newer Headlights?? :workout

gonna have to figure out how to get an 04 fairing on your bike too....shapes of the lights are different. you might be able to buy a 2000 upper race fairing (no headlight holes), and cut holes to fit. you'll have to fabricate brackets to hold the 04 headlight assembly on the 00 fairing stay.


either that, or you could buy an 04. :mrgreen

there would be ALOT of work involved in that project. and as stated earlier i think it would not look good. i had an 00 and had planned a solo-seat race tail(before she was totaled by some bitch). its your bike in the end so do what you want but imo i think the end result would not look good.

As stated....Lots of work for what probably won't look right.
