so i finally have the money to put an exhaust on the bike, i personally dont like the big exhausts so i want something like the new R6 (a shorty). i was wondering if put a yoshimura exhaust on my r6s, will it loose torque?

you will lose a little bit of torque but probably not that much to even notice. gytr makes a nice slip on and you can make it work on the r6s if you can find an exhaust hanger long enough to go from your passenger bracket or if you just custom make one
