Hello
I have a 1984 yamaha xt 600. My kickstart blew apart and broke the right inside side casing and many parts, so I have been trying to find a lower engine complete for this bike. I have not had any luck finding a 600 lower engine yet though.

I was told the xt550 lower engine is the same as long as my bike has kickstart and it does?

I have found a xt 550 lower engine complete he provided me with the part number.

I went to America's Most Diverse - Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, Home (http://parts.yamaha-motor.com) to try and find out my engine part number to match but I could not find engine part number?

Any help with this would be great, would love to get this bike running again.
