Went to take a quick test run on my dirt bike that i picked up the other day and two strange things occurred.. i shifted into 1st, and i was able to let the clutch out completely and it would idle. It did take an unusual amount of throttle to get it to move also. 2nd thing was, i was unable to shift out of first.

I'm at work now, and plan to troubleshoot later, but does this sound like the clutch it not engaging fully? i installed a new clutch handle yesterday, so I'm thinking i may have to tinker with that a bit more.

fixed it. Just need to adjust clutch cable as i anticipated.

Sorry I didn't catch this in time. I'm not surprised it was a clutch adjustment needed tho, those things fall out of adjustment sooooo fast. I actually like to leave my bar adjuster unlocked so I can adjust the clutch with 1 hand while on the move if I need to, or quickly while filling with fuel..

The scary part about that is that I don't use the clutch for shifts up or down and it still seems to wear at a frightening rate.
