Anyone modified air intake for better flow into air box ?

Can you actually modify the box? The way the air comes in, I wouldn't think it would be possible.

I have always left these alone unless you can buy an engineered air box that has been dyno tested. From my experience with older bikes, I produced more HP with a stock airbox and a K&N filter than butchering up the box in the first place.

The only exception I have had to that has been with a carb bank and exhaust replacement and a lot of tuning.

ok well there is very little you can do with the standard 750 airbox to increase air flow but you can install a yzf1000 thunderace air box with a bit of modification check out this link for how to do it, theres a few other things on there you might want to have a go at to ;-) http://www.d-murray.co.uk/convert.htm
