just picked up my new yz250 yesterday. looks mint for the year. recently rebuilt with 4 hours on it. 11oz. flywheel weight, full fmf exhaust, pro taper bars, applied triple clamps, black powdercoated frame. few other goodies. i am just not a fan of fmf exhaust. never have been. im a pro circuit guy. what really makes me upset is pro circuit doesnt offer the r304 racecap shorty for pretty much any bikes older than 2000. will a r304 for a 00 yz250 fit my bike? is there any real difference in the silencer bend? let me know. thanks guys :hello

second, your in Rhode Island right?? the graphics package on that bike are from a dealership located 10 minutes away from me... actually where i bought my KTM from. North County Yamaha (NCY).

third, i cant help on your exhaust, because i love my FMF on the same bike. grunty as hell. :crash

yea i live in woonsocket,ri. i picked up the yz from a guy in lakeville. i traded my 87 quadzilla for it. the fmf vs. pro circuit duel always brings mixed opinions. i ran a pro circuit platinum and r304 race cap shorty on my 00 kx 85, 01 kx 125, and rm 250. always been a fan of PC. the r304 sounds amazing. theres an fmf gnarly pipe and shorty silencer on it now. what i really like about this yz is the power is very snappy. unlike the 97 rm250 i had. so far im very pleased with the bike :hello
