A good part of my job is making changes to various vehicles and the tooling that builds them every other year or so for upgraded crash worthiness standards. Cool Concept, but I see it being a structural nightmare. Its going to create limitations on your Rocker section as well issues with door latching for impact bracing. And, how well is it going to work when its smashed and you have to get out of the car?

I saw this car before somewhere... the bad part was it's only the passenger door.... there was no room under the car for both doors... lol

It was pretty hacked up but it did work.
