: Sticker/graphics removal?

I have gotten sick of looking at the purple/magenta graphics on my bike (even though they are all in perfect shape).

I decided to remove them and just have it be white. everything on the tail section and upper fairing came off easy, just a little goo gone to remove some of the adhesive. Then I peeled the YZF750 stickers off the lower faring, holy crap they were hard to remove, the plastic part came off (little bits and pieces at a time) but left all the adhesive in place, O have tried everything to get that crap off and I am not having any luck at all. I really am not looking forward to using a carcinogenic nasty solvent, and would appreciate any assistance available.

they are harder to get off on that bit because of the heat off the engine makes them stick more,,
use a heat gun or if you havent got one a hair dryer!
it takes ages but only way to do it without marking anything!
then t-cut the hole lot because it will be colour faded in places where the stickers have been, hope this helps:D

i personally would use a hair dryer because it gets them warm enough without risking damageing the paint work/plastics as for the adhesive i have found different things work with different stickers some work well with just hot soapy water others wd40 some work well with carb cleaner and brake cleaner with others as for the citrus based adhesive remover you can get i would say its a waste of time,
