: FZ600 wheel swap?

Has anyone put different wheels on a 1986-88 FZ600?

I just restored one and I wonder if FZR600 wheels will fit. Thanks! :rolleyes

I've seen it done, but I'm not sure what all is involved. I'd steer clear of the rear though since it's an 18" rim as the tire selection is horrible these days.

kinda late response...have you had any luck? i have an fzr600 18" rear wheel on mine. it fit with a little modding of the rear brake spacer. nothing serious. best thing is i can run a bridgestone battlax radial 150/60-18 tire. its amazing and it just clears.!!!!!!!!!

How much clearance did you have. If you are still here. Or anyone else have an opinion.
