Hello to all,

I've been watching from the forum for a while now and have enjoyed what I've learned and put some of it to good use.

I have an '07 R1, and I've selected a Yosh 3/4 exhaust system. I was delivered yesterday and should have it hung by the weekend.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips or 'heads-up' regarding the installation of this system, avoiding dtc codes etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also enjoy hearing what others think of this setup.

Thanks, TonyD

Should be pretty straight foward. Basically unbolt and replace, nothing tricky at all. I did an akra cat back system. I didnt use the 02 sensor so I unplugged it from the harness (which is connected under the tank) but had a difficult time trying to snake it from between the frame and motor so I ended up snipping the wire. The bike has never thrown a code for me.

I was able to get the whole 02 sensor out without having to cut it. so I know it is possible. I too was so tempted to just cut it LOL

and the pc3 is the best way to compliment the exhaust if you are looking for the easier way to make it run right .

you can get the wire out on the left side of the engine cover... just unplug it and drop it out the bottom right side under the tank... :) Good luck and show us some pics... :)

Thank you for your responses. One of the things I've read mentioned dtc codes regarding the exup or O2 sensor, and since I intend to re-install the O2 and not disturb the 'exup' I feel pretty confident of a 'simple' install.

I was looking for any input or observations about 'fitment' issues. I certainly have no problems with the quality and finish.

One more work cycle, then I got 9 days to 'get-r-done' !!!!
