the maxim runs if i push start it...so i thought it was the start button by the throttle, hooked a new one up and still i get nothing..., checked the fuses, replaced them...what are some other possibilities for this problem?

check the battery make sure it is good. old batterys can cause alot of problems. my buddy at work has a 650 maxxim and he had some weird issues with the speedo jumping around it was because his battery wasnt able to charge with such a low amount of juice in it sounds a little weird but i would check the battery first thing, ( i would just buy a new one if you havnt already)

thanks for the response...i did buy a new battery but i may not have charged it correctly or fully...plus after i charged it and hooked it up it has been sitting for a while with out being used...ill charge it and give it a shot...does anyone think it could be my actual starter or ignitor? or possibly a soleniod problem?
