Are you referrring to the sticky pad you put on? I think it's the same triple tree as what's been on the bike for years. :dunno

Buy real carbon or nothing at all.

CF serves no performance function on the triple tree and the above works great for keeping key scratches off, although I've seen better CF looking stuff. I used a genuine Yami brand, looked great, does the job for me.
Anywhere else and yeah, I agree quality CF or nuttin.
