I went to take a look at the new 09 R1..

To my surprice there was five of them, in all colors, they said they just got them on thursday, and haven't sold one.. I was very dissopointed with the way they looked and sound, they actually dont sound to good in person, they need a full exhuast for sure.

It was also really big, kind of like the busa or kawi14, I didn't feel it, I know the specs are there for a bad ass bike but the love was not... I feel a little wierd, I always like the Yamaha line, just not this one... :thumbdn

Really? I still haven't seen one yet dealer is supposed to get them in some time this month definitely gonna have to go check it out.

Not every bike is for every person :fact My buddies all told me the 07 looked like shit. I went with them to the dealer to see for myself, and told them they were on crack. Bought one two days later :lol

im going to be hitting up the dealer this friday for my seals and i intend to check out the new line up, hopefully they wont disappoint me as well

I"m with ya man. I've honestly been scared worse on 250's than any naturally aspirated literbike. Just tremendous ability to wheely off a corner with the rear wiggling in any gear.

Literbikes are fast, but don't have that same "more power than you know how to deal with, everywhere." to them.

that is when i knew i would be scared of riding that thing!!! there really isn't much like riding one of those monsters, it accelerates harder than my R1 ever could from a stop, and is just plain rediculous all around, you need wide open spaces to ride that thing :lol
