Anyone replace there master cylinder? I was thinking of a Brembo to help braking (along with ebc hh pads, ss lines, rebuilt 6 piston calipers, motul rbf600). I'm not sure if it's worth the investment, or sure which model is needed (9x18,9x19,x9x20). Thanks

Changing to a BREMBO master cylinder is 1 of the BEST upgrades $$ can buy and YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED AT ALL!!
MONEY WELL SPENT FOR SURE!! :thumbup
On my SP I have the Brembo BILLET 19X20 , Goodridge Stainless steel lines, EBC HH pads, Motul RBF660 Factory Line (new formula) , Brembo Resevoir and Brembo Rotors.
After using the Brembo Billet master, I can NEVER go back to stock......the extra-feel and braking POWER is AMAZING.

For street applications which is preferred 19x18 or 19x20?

Thanks YEC YZF750SP. So, the 9x20 would be the correct size for my bike? And did you use the master cylinder with stock rotors first, and if so how did that work. Brembo rotors cost alot.
Thanks

It's really down to rider preference.......but I've found that most street riders will choose the 19X18 because it gives more "feel" or "sensitivity".
I prefer the 19X20 because it has more "braking power".

Both the 19X18 or 19X20 will work for your bike. Choose the 19X18 if "feel" and "sensitvity" are more important to you, or the 19X20 for "ultimate braking power".
The 1st combo I did was Goodridge Stainless Steel brakelines, EBC RFA190 "Green" Pads with stock rotors and stock master cylinder. When my stock rotors were worn, I replaced them with EBC "Pro-Lite" rotors and they performed beautifully for 5 years of street/track-day riding. :D
I highly encourage replacing the stock rotors beause they are simply GARBAGE.
I installed the Brembo 19X20 Billet radial master cylinder and the Brembo 320mm rotors at the same time. But I've ridden other bikes with just the Brembo master and stock rotors, so I know how well the Brembo master really works!! :thumbup

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to start with the M/C, then move to rotors.
