New to this forum and new to Yamahas.

I am acquiring an '86 FZ600 along with a woodstove in trade for a generator so you know it's a fine machine.
I'll be looking to make a track bike from this heap and I'll be asking a million questions as to what I can and can't do to improve it. I'll have better pictures once it gets brought to my place but for now, I present to you, in all it's glory my 1986 FZ600.

First off to improve braking you can install a front calipar :)

Apparent lack of a working throttle offsets the need for brakes. :lmao

I get it next weekend at which point I'll tear into it and make a list of things I need. I'm encouraged by pictures I found of another FZ600 having 02 R1 forks and brakes.
Should be a fun winter. I'll end up starting a thread of the breakdown and buildup. Hopefully video of it running too.

Sweet, I will be watching it and waiting to hear it fire up! :)
