after I got my new tire today...since I had the back tire off anyway, I figgered id go ahead and put my Olins rear shock on....WOW what a Difference it made, the bike feels like its Fuggin new again, that made a suprising difference... I mean I knew it would improve handling but Im really pleased with it!! just thought Id share....;)
I have it on a really hard setting, any suggentions on the settings...seems to be really nice though...

yup ohlins is good stuff and it's your lucky day :) If you have a question about settings I would ask dan kyle. He surely knows his ohlins and he's on this forum.

hard NOT to feel new again.....i'm guessing that you'd never had your OEM shock rebuilt. that oil was 8 years old!
think the shock is great.....mount up forks, my friend. PLUSH. :)

You should be able to use an 04 set gunny. Switch calipers aswell as forks and you should be good to go.

make a huge difference. riding endurance races with stock shock and be wore out after short time. but with good shock feels like u can ride all day. plus does handle so much better when setup.

Hey Gunny, which Ohlins shock did you get, is it a Graves Spec?

i think graves was only messing with the three-way '04 shocks and on. :dunno
