New Forum Skins Available

I have finished creating & designing the new skins and button images tonight.


You now will have four choices of colors.

Yamaha Blue - forum default
Yamaha Red
Yamaha Light
Yamaha Dark

I like the Yamaha Blue, but I like the envelopes of the Yamaha Light. I guess I am getting :old because I have to strain to see the dot on the envelopes for threads that I have posted on. :lol

Ok on the blue and red skins hit refresh and you will have the new icons... They are much easier on the old eyes :)

I like the lighter colors. I stare at 3 screens in front of me all day long and have problems programming on my main screen when i have eye popping colors on my dedicated "forum" monitor to hard to stay focused LOL... I feel old and im only 26 :lol

I would say the dark but the light blue on dark grey hurts my eyes for some reason...

Yeah I like the dark, easier on the eyes. The white messes with my eyes after awhile. maybe I should spend less time on the internet then.

i was thinkin about something like the light skin we have now, but instead of light blue, how about a lighter grey. or like the dark now but a lil lighter.

i think it would be a very cool option.

Based on the poll results the Dark skin will now be the default skin for the site.

Of course you always have your choice you can choose as well.

R1Lover i'm sure you're still working on it but on the poll the white background is hard to read and when i first logged in the white background made it hard to read what it says it was doing "taking me back after i login" or what not. On the main page....other then that...I LIKE IT :)

It takes a little time to create these skins without copying one..... I am still working on this. :) There are over 100 settings for colors etc that all have to jive and also there are 30+ buttons that need to be made as well for each skin... :)

I will do another one up this weekend...

Downside to the dark skin is that it makes it too difficult to see everything when I'm on my laptop at times.

and the rest of the skins are way to bright for me.
