I honestly didn't know anything about him when he came to the MotoGP class since I never watch 125 or 250. Since I didn't know anything about him I kept an open mind on his abilities, but he is worthless on a MotoGP bike. Yamaha needs to drop him ASAP and hire someone capable of riding the M1!

I think the way he rides is conducive to the current engine displacement. the people in the know say the 800cc bikes are impossible to ride without the electronics engine management ,engine back torque control, wheelie control , traction control etc. that imo does not mean the bikes wont bite you , and there is a short list of people who can ride the bike at rossi's level . lorenzo is learning his place and I think he has been trying to ride more level headed. not disagreeing with anyone and maybe yamaha should axe him .
my biggest fear in the electronics game is the next generation , where more computer than rider skill wins the race.

i say strip em for a season, and let the riders ride the bikes not ride computers with wheels... and LORENZO LAND IS STILL OUT THERE! :fact he will fix it but he just needs to keep his feet on the pegs not in the air! :lol

I would not go as far as canning him, I think he has great potential for sure, although something needs to change. Maybe detune his bike a little until he can finish a race, then tell him you will increase the HP each race he finishes lol (joking of course) :lol

I really think that he can be at the same level as rossi as he dominated other classes like Rossi did in the past, and he proved that he was JUST as fast in the first few races, i say give it some time and let him get on steady ground again and he will prove that he can be up there with stoner, and rossi still. :thumbup Rock on JL! :rock
