I'd like to make some road trips on the bike, but it's just soooo hot on the R1, and a lack of saddle bags would get old. I hate to say it but for any real long trips I'd probably want an FJR :whisper I think Yamaha's gonna release something new here shortly that will be more like the ZX14 concourse. I can definitely see myself upgrading if they just put a little more sport in the FJR. Right now I still MIGHT be going to Indy for the GP race. I've got tickets but my mom's b'day is the same weekend. If I do go I'll be riding the 8 hours or so on the R1 with a backpack full of spare clothes.
