Okay guys I could use some help. I have an old data cd with audio RAX files that I purchased some years back off of RealPlayer. I'm trying to put them on my ipod and need to convert them to mp3 files

I haven't purchased anything from them in some time. Apparently they have changed RealPlayer since I can no longer log in and according to them I don't have an account. bla bla bla

Anyway, I have tried a couple converters and they still end up connecting to Realplayer and won't work since I can't log in. I don't want to spend $30.00 bucks on a converter since I could just repurchase the cd for $15.00.

If someone has a converter I would appreciate it if you could convert it for me. :D

I hear limewire is a pretty good " free converter" :lol I have a mac so I'm running Toast, so can't really help ya out. Itunes can't convert it?

I haven't used it but a quick google netted this shareware app: http://3d2f.com/programs/25-723-rm-to-mp3-wav-convertor-download.shtml

Looks like it should handle your RAX files.

Download page is here: http://3d2f.com/download/25-723-rm-to-mp3-wav-convertor-free-download.shtml

I think they are just using RAX in their "keywords". I downloaded it and it doesn't say anything about converting RAX files. Also it will only let you do 2 songs then wants you to purchase the program. Thanks for looking though. :thumbup

Seriously. I bet if you looked in the right places you could replace all those files in a matter of minutes. ;)

I'm sure. The problem is that I know many "right" places when it comes to motorcycle related stuff but not so much when it comes to music. :lol :rofl

I used limewire forever, and then switched over to the foreign sites where it's like a buck for a new cd.
