I could'nt wait on my carb r1 project so I put them on the 06. Putting the 55 series tire on makes the bike a hell of a lot more fun. Hope to be eatin chicken strips this weekend and get better pics

:cool I wouldn't want the job of keeping them clean with all those spokes, but very nice wheels indeed. :thumbup

At least it hasn't been raining for the past week. I haven't been able to ride at all!

fookin gorgeous . . . PVM still piss's me off about them . . . they released them for the R1 right after I got my Marchesinis . . . damnit . . . I would rather have gotten them, especially after seeing them on the VirginMobile R1 :thumbup

They are nice plus at $1000 shipped even better. When I first put them on I could'nt take my eyes off the 06 I would glance at the 2000 then stare at the 06. I'm sure its just the "newness" of having different rims on, I thought the stock 5 spoke wheels were nice enough looking but these do knock it out the park. I could feel the bike was more fun and predictable with this new set up. Having the 55 on gives more front end feel its taken 2 years to have any feedback from the front tire. I've ordered more stuff for the R71 bike project today slow going that 1 is.

Got em off a dude on R1forum that thought they were to heavy he's used to magnesium & carbon. They had a bad rear bearing and a couple of paint chips but as much as I ride a scuff here and a nick there don't bother me. I got my 520 kit from your site thanks btw
