Hey guys~

I need to find a cheap(er) rear tire for my 06 R1... I've signed up for the California Superbike School in my area in September, and I'll be buying a set of Corsa IIIs for that one, but for now I need to find a cheap regular diablo or something comparible. My front is about 1/2 gone, and my rear developed a split in it about 1" long, but you can see the metal cord at the bottom of the split :eek

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it! If it makes any difference the girl is currently shod with Diablo Corsas (not III's, just Corsas)

Cheepest and best tires made. Got the pilot 2ct on my r6s and it made the bike 100 times better. Wouldnt suggest anything else.

I agree, cheap and tires are hard to put into the same sentence for me. That having been said there are some really good deals out there, the sites listed are good places to start and I would recommend sticking with a major brand name. I just bought a set of Shinko (they're basically Yokohamas) for my Ducati and I like them, I never heard of them until a friend got some because of the price point. Much better than paying $400 a set for the Pirelli's. These are the one's I got:

Also be careful finding some close-outs as they could just be really old tires.

This is the best place right here. It costed me $100.15 for my Metzler sportech m3 front tire. Free shipping on anything over $99. I doubt you will find anywhere cheaper.

Can anyone tell me what the cadillac of cruising tires are. I have a 1983 Yamaha Venture 1200. I am looking for a high milage, excellent traction, good wet weather (just incase) type of tire. I always heard Dunlop was a great tire ... does anyone have any suggestions?
