Sounds like a smear campaign by the Japanese because Macs "American" are getting more and more popular every day. I'd say the fact that the Japanese are getting their hindquarters handed to them in the mp3 player market by an American company is getting them a little peeved as well.

I love my Mac don't really care what's inside. It works well, looks better, and I have zero complaints. Love all three of my ipod's too!
