valerossi 02-17-2008, 07:05 PM Have you tried the NGK Iridium plugs? They're good and reliable, not too expensive, and I don't believe those $75 plugs are that much better than these... If you don't like NGK, Denso also makes them...
Notable properties of Iridium are its melting point - approximately 2450 degrees C, considerably higher than Platinum, and it's strength - approximately 8 times that of platinum. The table below compares the characteristics of Iridium with those of other precious/semi-precious metals commonly used in the construction of spark plugs.

sss r1 02-18-2008, 09:48 AM with stock coils nothing will work better then stock plugs or iridium ones.
iridium will last longer.

No doubt they're probably really good plugs, but I think the plugs worth $20, and the $55 go to the 3 letters "YEC"... :crash
valerossi 02-18-2008, 06:19 PM By the way, the YEC plugs are produced by NGK also, I'm sure you're aware of that... :)

Yes I noticed they're different than the conventional plugs, I've seen similar plugs for cars by Bosch I think or some other brands, forgot the exact brand. They claimed that it's suppose to create a better output to the conventional design. But I'm not sure if it's worth $75 a pop though... :dunno The ones I saw for cars were like $25-$30 a pop iirc.
