Who else has a multi-monitor setup going ? It really gives you a productivity edge, but let me warn you - it's addictive.... there's always room for another monitor :lmao

Currenlty have 2x 24" and 1x 22" widescreen monitors in a tri-monitor setup...a 5520x1200 desktop :hooray :cool

Linux on the left, Windows on the right. Both controlled with a single mouse/keyboard. Just move the mouse off the right side of the linux box, and it rolls onto the left of the Windowx box.

....I think the wallpaper is rather appropriate for this setup. :crash

I run a dual monitor set up. Never have had much luck at getting a single wall paper to span the screens though. Also, How are you running three Belgium? Multiple video cards?

Yep... I have 2 nVidia PCIe cards, and use Ultramon to make sure the screens play nice together :)

That's my X%&#! key. :mrgreen

Literally. That's what it says. I'd take a closer pic but my cell camera won't stay in focus close enough to really see it. :)

Shagz, what kind of KVM switch allows you to just roll from one screen to the other? Havent seen that one before.

Yeah, had me for a second as well.

Probably find he is using a virtual setup (VMWare, VirtualServer,VirtualPC etc) to achieve that. I ran somethiing similar to that for years as I required fast access to both os's frequently.

So base Linux box with dual screens and a Windows install in VMWare maximised to the second screen.

But Im sure there is more than one way to achieve this.

This does, I asked the same thing on the sbf site. :)

It's pretty cool.

I do have a KVM switch plugged into these machines, for when I need to physically attach the mouse/keyboard to one of the boxes without having two sets of mice/keyboards (normally I leave it set to the linux box and I control everything directly from there), but the KVM doesn't do that part of the job.
