Rename of section

Any chance of renaming the "Racing Section" to something like "Trackday and Racing Information"?

Attempting to find trackday information from the front page isn't that easy as it's not readily apparent. Some people are interested in only trackdays, and not racing so they would typically look for trackday. Well, okay, at least I do. :sing

Also, would it make sense to do a breakdown by race type: MotoGP, Superbike, MX/SX/Off-road? Might be a little easier to find if you go off of series.

I agree that making a sub-forum is good idea. That would also allow us to provide much more info than just having a few stickies with info

fjorn: I'm not sure about breaking down race type. If you think about how many different ones there are, you would have many sub-forums. IMO the best thing to do is start the thread like we have been doing with "MotoGP >>" etc in the thread title and that makes it very easy to filter through.

Sub forum would work perfectly. :thumbup I was just looking at it from a top level perspective is all. I know many wouldn't think to look into race info for trackdays, even though they are very closely related.

As to the race breakdown, no worries. Just brainstorming is all, as it can get a little cluttered at times and difficult to find some info (especially for us non paved roads riders :mock)

Also, any thoughts to putting a "General Mechanical How-To" section out there as well? Topics that could apply to all bikes would go in there. Safety wiring is a prime example. ;)

I added a sub forum to the general bike section for how to's

and then added another sub forum to the racing section for track days...
